About Us

Related by marriage, bound by friendship, we are sisters in law.  Years of beach glass & shipwreck pottery collecting along the shores of Lake Erie, combined with an experienced and talented jewelry designer, led to an ah-ha moment one beachfront family vacation. Born was Washed Ashore Jewelry. We create beautifully unique, always one of a kind, beach glass and shipwreck pottery designs. By color and pattern, some of our pieces can be dated back to the 1800’s, released by sunken ships that have met their demise in the shallow and treacherous waters of Lake Erie.  Over the years, these pieces have been naturally broken and tumbled by the surf, ultimately washing on shore to our north coast beaches.

Our designs are embellished with sterling silver, Swarovski crystals, semi precious gemstones, mixed metals, charms & freshwater pearls. Each piece can be personalized upon request.

We hope you enjoy these one of a kind treasures from the past and appreciate the unusual history behind each piece.

We would like to thank www.billmenzphotography.com for the beautiful pictures of our jewelry and his unending patience.

I’m home recuperating and a “gift” arrived from by dear friend Linda Concoby of Rogers Arkansas…lucky, lucky me…a floating charm locket and a package of individual glass pieces..could not have been more surprised or delighted…the locket is beautiful…as is our friendship for over 35 years. So glad she chose your work to brighten my day…blessings to you for sharing your talents with all of us….
    Happy recipient!
